How To: Escape the Solid Color Doldrums

In a busy, fast paced world it can be easy to fall into the pattern of the solid color doldrums.

You know what I’m talking about where day after day you throw on the same boring pieces because you know they’ll work and “be safe” at the office.

However, you also feel it inside.

That feeling that your routine has become lifeless, boring, and monotonous. It’s become… ROUTINE.

One of the easiest ways to break this up is by throwing on or layering with PRINT.

Yet, there’s a reason many women avoid it like the plague.

The reason is it’s entirely too easy to make a mistake and end up feeling uncomfortable all day long wishing you had just thrown on that “Plain Jane” piece you knew would work.

So you stick to your tired basics that you know won’t let you down, but it’s starting to wear on you a bit.

If you’ve ever felt this way, you’re not alone. Trust me.

And knowing that a select group of my Elite Private members joined me for an exclusive Print Workshop.

This was an event where we’d get together, dig out some of my most prized prints from the archives, have a great time, and design some custom made prints that will fit anything we pair them with.

And here’s the kicker…

We didn’t just discuss how to add prints to your wardrobe.

We took a deep dive into selecting the right type of fabric, the right artwork, the correct colors, and even how it would drape across your body.

This was a Master Class on designing and choosing the print that’s right for you.

How to add that element of edge that will have you letting out your inner Rock Star without feeling out of place at the office.

How to look at and create mismatching that WORKS.

How to present something that expresses you, makes you stand out, without being garish.

Because it’s about highlighting and enhancing the real you. Bringing out that inner rebel and artist.

And perhaps one of the best reasons to add print to your wardrobe is because it can breathe new life into the painstaking process of trying to create more interesting ensembles.

If you’d like to grab a boring old relic (t-shirt, skirt, or scarf) from your closet and spice it up OR one of those pieces of fabric that you’ve been squirreling away for “one day” when you have time to be creative I’d like to extend you an invitation.

Just let me know you’d like to join us and I’ll get you all the details.

Sincerely,

Susan
